"Wings Of Eagles" Offers Local Aid

"Wings Of Eagles," the Joseph Alvarez Organization for seriously ill children, provides emotional and financial assistance to families throughout the North Valley, including the counties of Butte, Glenn, Sutter, Tehama, Yuba, and Colusa.

The aid is available to families who have children with pediatric cancer or who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. In surrounding counties, we serve pediatric cancer patients only.

Application for Financial Assistance

 Financial Assistance is distributed annually per applicant on a one-time basis. Assistance is distributed to new applicants in September, December, March, and June starting in September of 2019, depending on when your application was received. Financial Assistance is between $250.00 - $1,000.00 per applicant request annually.

* FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WILL NOT BE DISTRIBUTED IN BULK MONETARY AMOUNTS UNLESS BY SPECIAL APPROVAL. ALL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WILL BE SENT OUT ON A MONTHLY BASIS UNTIL YOUR MAXIMUM FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AMOUNT HAS BEEN ATTAINED IN A 12 MONTH PERIOD BASED ON YOUR START DATE.
